Little Artists: Summer Nature & Art Exploration Class
"Art is not necessarily for academic achievement, but for emotional expression and developmental resilience."
"I don't know how to draw." "My drawings don't look real." "I don't know what to draw..." When children become too accustomed to standard answers, they often hesitate to put brush to paper for fear of making mistakes. In this certificate-driven era, a child's inner self desperately needs a safe space to make mistakes and breathe freely.
This is not a conventional art class that teaches how to "draw beautifully" or focuses on "learning techniques". Before pursuing aesthetics and complex skills, we care more about the inner resilience that children develop along the way.
Here, we use art as a medium to accompany children as they:
● Observe from nature ── Open up their five senses and reconnect with the natural world.
● Grow from mistakes ── Learn to transform imperfect marks into the starting point of a story.
● Feel through daily life ── Depict everyday objects and discover that inspiration is always all around us.
Our priority is to help children overcome the fear of making mistakes, express themselves boldly, and boost their self-confidence. In every single lesson, children will complete a piece of artwork. More importantly, however, they will walk away with a seed of exploration sown in their hearts, alongside a powerful psychological resilience for their future growth.

"I grew up in an environment that heavily emphasised standard answers. I used to believe that drawing was strictly about learning techniques, and this pressure caused me to lose my creative drive. It wasn't until I completed a picture book out of a pure desire to express myself that I truly rediscovered the essence of art: it is not about the precision of technical skills, but about enriching the inner self and deepening our sensitivity to the world.
To me, art is not something high and out of reach. It is a joyful way for us to give concrete form to the ideas in our heads, and even solve everyday problems. In this class, I hope to explore, create, and grow together with everyone."
